Join the Center for Urban Families as it honors visionary leaders at an award ceremony at the American Visionary Art Museum April 11.

The Baltimore nonprofit will honor Marion Wright Edelman, president and founder of the Children’s Defense Fund; Georgetown University Law Center Professor Peter Edelman; Associated Black Charities' CEO Diane Bell-McCoy; and, Shawn Dove, manager of the Open Society Institute's Campaign for Black Male Achievement.

The Center for Urban Families provides career training to low-income families. It also helps these families overcome addiction, resolve child support issues and learn parenting skills.
